The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has introduced the Yuva Shodh Pratibha Scheme (YSPS) 2026–27 for students pursuing Four-Year Undergraduate Programmes under NEP 2020. The scheme encourages young researchers to work on the theme “Youth and Decolonisation” while promoting Indian knowledge systems and indigenous research perspectives. Eligible students from the 6th and 7th semesters can apply in teams of 2–3 members under the guidance of a faculty mentor. Selected projects may receive financial assistance of up to ₹3,00,000. The online application process will begin on 06 June 2026 and continue till 06 July 2026.
